1 out of every 3 Oklahoma households are led by single parents and 72% of those homes are being raised in a single mother home. Fatherlessness has truly become an American crisis and it deserves our attention. However, not all single parent homes become a negative statistic and for this reason, four years ago, the single parent support network decided to recognize parents who have raised or are raising productive, contributing members of society.
