DaRenda was a 2005 graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a BS in Accounting and a minor in Finance. She went on to pursue her MBA at UCO and graduated in 2009.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, DaRenda met her husband, David, while she was at college. Aside from 2.5 years when they moved to San Antonio (for his job), they have lived in Edmond their entire married life.
They have two boys, ages 5 & 9, and a Golden Retriever named Scooby.
She has worked in both public and corporate accounting for the past 15 years, and is very aware of struggles small businesses and individuals have with their finances.
She began financial coaching after she and her husband overcame some of their own personal money struggles. She started by helping family and friends, but soon realized she had a knack to be able to help those who were ready to make a change in their money situation.
She loves being able to see the potential in people that they sometimes can’t see in themselves.
