In efforts to connect Oklahoma leaders from different sectors – social services, business, education, and faith-based organizations – and provide a cohesive snapshot of what single- parent families look like, of the obstacles facing single parents, and of the resources available for single-parent families, the Single Parent Support Network will offer a single-day conference on May 23rd, 2018. This conference will feature three speakers and an expert panel as well as sector-specific break-out sessions for discussion and exploration. The speakers are Calvin Williams (founder of Lucian Families in Cincinnati, Ohio) and Jim Priest (CEO of Sunbeam Family Services in OKC).
